Terms of Service

These Terms govern your access to and use of Reviewlico. Reviewlico is a free personal software project, not a paid commercial service, and it is offered on an as-is basis.

1. Who these Terms apply to

These Terms apply to anyone who visits the website, creates an account, uses the dashboard, generates API keys, submits reviews, or embeds Reviewlico components.

You must be able to legally agree to these Terms in your jurisdiction and, in any event, be at least 16 years old to use the service without a parent or guardian acting for you.

2. What Reviewlico is

Reviewlico lets users create organizations, manage products, collect reviews, moderate review submissions, and display reviews through embeddable components copied into their own projects.

Reviewlico is currently free to use. No subscription, billing, or payment processing is offered through this project at this time.

3. Accounts, API keys, and security

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and API keys secure. API keys are shown once on creation and can be used to submit and fetch public review data for the organization that created them.

Do not share credentials or API keys with people who should not have access. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account or keys unless the activity was caused by Reviewlico’s own misconduct.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use Reviewlico for unlawful, fraudulent, abusive, or deceptive activity;
  • upload or submit malware, harmful code, spam, or content intended to disrupt the service;
  • attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or data;
  • interfere with rate limits, security controls, or service availability;
  • use the service to publish content that clearly infringes another person’s rights.

5. Reviews and user content

You are responsible for the content you submit or manage through Reviewlico, including review text, reviewer details, product information, and any metadata you upload.

By submitting content, you confirm that you have the rights needed to use it and that your use of the service does not violate applicable law or the rights of others.

By submitting content through Reviewlico, you grant the project operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, display, reproduce, and distribute that content solely as needed to operate and provide the service.

Reviewlico may remove, reject, or limit content or access if needed to protect the project, investigate misuse, or respond to legal or safety concerns.

6. Availability and changes

Because Reviewlico is a free personal project, uptime, support levels, long-term availability, and feature continuity are not guaranteed. Features may change, be paused, or be removed at any time.

Reviewlico may also update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

7. Disclaimers

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reviewlico is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted service.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Reviewlico and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.

If liability cannot be excluded, the total liability arising out of or relating to Reviewlico is limited to the greater of USD 100 or the amount you paid to use the service in the 12 months before the claim. At present, Reviewlico is free to use.

9. Suspension and termination

Reviewlico may suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated, if the service is being misused, if continued access creates security or legal risk, or if the project is discontinued.

10. Disputes and applicable law

Before starting a formal dispute, please contact support.reviewlico@gmail.com and try to resolve the issue informally.

These Terms are intended to operate subject to the mandatory laws that apply to the project operator and to you. If a court must resolve a dispute, it should be brought in the forum that has lawful jurisdiction over the project operator, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
